Educational Event in Tavush Region

News

We are pleased to announce that “CARD AgroCredit” UCO CJSC, within the framework of its corporate social responsibility programs, organized an educational event — this time for the youth of border communities in the Tavush region.

The event was held in cooperation with the “10:30” Club on July 19 in Ijevan, and was fully financed by CARD AgroCredit UCO CJSC.

The educational event brought together active and curious young people from the communities of Koghb, Azatamut, Gandzakar, Getahovit, Archis, and Ijevan.

Speakers at the event included:

  • Gevorg Poghosyan, Founder of IDram and Director of the reArmenia platform
  • Mariam Hambardzumyan, Co-founder of TCF Armenia and Co-organizer of Tech Week Armenia

The topics covered were highly relevant:

  • How to become AI-literate and prepare for the future
  • How to create a competitive product for the international market

Ruzanna Baghdasaryan, representative of CARD AgroCredit UCO CJSC, presented information about the organization and emphasized the company’s approach to prioritizing social responsibility programs as part of its long-term strategy.

Among the attendees were David Hakobyan, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Armenia, Children from the “MEM” NGO, The Loft Ijevan team, representatives from Tavush TV, Yell Extreme Park, Koghba Sarer winery, and the 10:30 Club

Key outcomes of the event:

  • Donation of 250,000 AMD to the charitable “Harehas” program, which supports 3,520 women in the Gegharkunik region to gain education and create their own rural projects
  • 18,000 media views of event coverage
  • 55+ participants from the Tavush region
  • 40+ shares on social media by influential individuals and organizations in their fields.

At the end of the day, all participants received certificates of participation.

Following the success of this initiative, we are now receiving numerous messages from young people in other regions — including Abovyan, Kajaran, Vanadzor, Dilijan, and more — requesting similar events in their communities.

Meanwhile, participants of the Tavush event have already established direct connections with the speakers and continue to benefit from their guidance.
